On May 18th, we will know which students will have the chance to send their teacher to the Princess Elisabeth Station in Antarctica (PEA)!

The three finalists of the Polar Quest Contest, the Gemeentelijk Technisch Instituut Londerzeel, the Leiepoort Deinze Campus Sint-Hendrik and the Sint-Jozef Instituut Essen, were given the task to elaborate a scientific/technological research project to be carried out at or in the vicinity of the PEA station. The teams were also to pay extra attention to the educational and promotional aspects of their projects. On May 18th, the finalists will present their project and at 5:20pm, the jury will nominate the ultimate winner of the contest.

For an abstract of the three projects, please read the press release.
