The Arctic Arc: educational programme

EducaPoles organises an educational project linked with the Arctic Arc: Alain Hubert's and Dixie Dansercoer's expedition in the Arctic !

On this website, you will find various educational activities and resources introducing the following themes: Polar Regions, Polar sciences, Water and ice on earth, Oceans, Climate change and Energy.

 

Various educational resources are already available through the EducaPoles website and new ones will be created during the expedition.

Alain Hubert and Dixie Dansercoer started off on a four-month expedition, which will lead them from Siberia to the southernmost tip of Greenland via the North Pole. We will follow our explorers' progress and we will give detailed news updates every week. Following this exceptional adventure is a fantastic motivation for students and will allow them to better understand the high stakes linked with the Polar Regions while developing their interest in science.

Available educational material and activities designed especially for the occasion (educational dossiers, flash animations, interviews of Alain Hubert, Interactive questions, Polar reporters, etc.) are different ways one can introduce students to the various themes covered in this educational project.
