Throughout their "Arctic Arc" expedition, Alain Hubert and Dixie Dansercoer want to raise public awareness about the fragility of the Arctic and about the dramatic changes already taking place there. We often hear that Polar Regions are very important, but why? That's exactly what we want to ask you in this series of interactive questions.

Whether you're kids, teachers, entire classes or just interested adults, you're all invited to offer your opinion. An expert will publish his own opinion on this page in a few weeks.

Question: Scientists stress the importance of the Polar Regions. In your view, why are the main reasons the Polar Regions are so important?
