Teaching dossier about polar regions available in English
The International Polar Foundation has released an English version of its teaching dossier on polar regions. This 14 pages dossier aims at introducing the polar environment to students through the fauna, flora, ice floes, climate, etc.
This dossier shares the common structure of all teachning dossiers consieved by the International Polar Foundation:
- A theory part explaining the knowledge put across by the topics of the particular file;
- The teaching objectives, with reference to primary school curricula;
- Activity suggestions and a sample teaching sequences in order to facilitate the carrying out of research activities;
- A list of further research sources (bibliography, internet sites, etc.).
