Class Zero Emission CD-ROM

Class Zero Emission CD-ROM

© IPF / INTERNATIONAL POLAR FOUNDATION

Within the framework of the Class Zero Emission project, the IPF has released an educational CD-ROM which supplements the 4 themes introduced during the workshop: climate change, polar regions, science & polar expeditions and sustainable development.

4 flash animations are available on the CD-ROM :

  • Humankind : Culprit and Victim of Climate Change Today
  • Impacts of Climate Change on the Oceans
  • The Polar Regions: The First Areas of the Planet to Be Affected by Climate Change
  • The Polar Regions: One of a Kind Laboratories for Scientific Research

The first two animations tackle the effects of climate change on land and sea, while the two others highlight the Polar Regions as sentinels of climate change and privileged research areas.

This educational tool was devised to be used by teachers to prepare their visit to "Class Zero Emission" but can of course be used independently.

This CD-ROM is available in French and Dutch, and features a voice-over for the first time. This should make the CD-ROM easier to use in classrooms.

French and Dutch versions of this CD-ROM are available free of charge for Belgian teachers. Stocks are limited !

Please pay € 3 (shipping costs) on the following bank account (€ 5 will be asked if you are outside Belgium):
