The IPF participates in the Flemish congress for sciences teachers 2009 at Ghent University and the University college Ghent.

This congress, an initiative to inform teachers in science about the latest scientific news and events, takes place on the 14th of November. It aims at helping the teachers to find new tools for use in class rooms. It is supported by the Flemish Community and is organised by 2 teacher associations: VeLeWe and VOB.

IPF will inform secondary school teachers through a series of workshops entitled: Zero Emission: bringing the Princess Elisabeth Antarctic station to the classroom. IPF will discuss her two biggest ongoing projects and introduce the public to the zero emission concept that they share. The CD-ROM 'Class zero emission', realised by the IPF, will be available for free to any of the participants of this congress.
