The Polar Regions: One of a Kind Laboratories for Scientific Research

Full screen view

The fourth animation in the Class Zero Emission series focuses on the polar sciences (glaciology, oceanography, biology...) and explains the different steps that researchers take when doing research in the Arctic or Antarctic. Four examples of research carried out in the Antarctic are presented through a few interviews with researchers. Presented in the animation are two examples of research carried out from a research ship and two examples of research carried out from the most recently built research station in Antarctica, the Princess Elisabeth Station.
