This dossier includes a theory section which discusses not only the various peoples who live in the Arctic, but also the people who have explored the Arctic and Antarctic throughout history (Vikings, explorers, scientists, adventurers and tourists).

Three ready-to-use students' activity sheets are also included:

  1. Poster: What Do People Wear in the Polar Regions? (<12 years old);
  2. Activity: Group activity where students organise their own polar expedition (12-15 years old);
  3. Exercise: Discussion based on a logbook from an Antarctic expedition (>15 years old).
